Nathalie Hazenberg is a breakthrough thinker and believes in new ways of working and organising for a better future. She started her career in banking at the time internet banking was the new thing and soon realised the importance of the people side of business. Nathalie studied business economics in Amsterdam and has a post academic degree in advanced labour studies. Her thesis was on the role of leadership in culture change. During her career she has developed the BREAK approach to breakthrough thinking and applied it in many ways. In the past years she has been focusing on organisational agility of ABN AMRO and breaking through barriers that prevent the organisation to be nimble. She combines her role within the bank with teaching as a master lecturer on Ethical Leadership, Organisation Design, Change Management and Organisational Psychology. Furthermore she is head of a supervisory board in primary education and author of books about people and organisation. Her latest book ‘Momentum’ she wrote together with her colleague Klaas Ariaans. This book poses a paradigm shift in the way we look at leadership and organisational design.
