Coming from an engineering background, Bas has over 17 years’ management experience in transforming organisations and leading complex IT projects. From 2016 - 2020 he has been one of the initiators and driving forces behind a 30M Digital Transformation programme. After finishing that highly successful programme he was appointed as Chief Analytics Officer in 2021, responsible for making Van Lanschot Kempen a more data-driven organisation. Next to that, he became responsible for Digital Innovation in 2022.

Van Lanschot Kempen, a union of two specialised financial boutiques, is the oldest independent financial institution in the Netherlands. Van Lanschot Kempen operates four business lines under two labels: Van Lanschot Kempen (private banking, asset management and merchant banking) and Evi (digital investment advice).
For a combined four centuries, we have dedicated our financial craftsmanship to helping our clients achieve their goals. During that time, our Dutch trading spirit has led us and our clients through a stream of changes. And through all these changes, our clients’ ambitions have also changed and developed – for both the short and the long term.
